For decades, we've fought with a sound system that is unreliable and inconsistent. After prayer and consultation, we've decided it's time to fix it from the ground up. We've contacted Gulf Coast Sound to overhaul the system completely. They are the same company that renovated the sound system at St. Pius X in Lafayette, St. John Cathedral, and St. Bernard in Breaux Bridge, and they come highly recommended.

They will replace most of the equipment, add a few new pieces, reuse the few good speakers we already have, and then calibrate the system to give consistent sound to the entire Church.

To do all this, we need to raise $80,000. We do not have that much money to spare in our savings, so we're asking everyone to consider making a 3-month pledge to this campaign to upgrade our sound system.

Thanks to several generous donors, the first $40,000 raised will be matched. That means for every $1 you give, we'll actually receive $2! If you pledge $20 per month for the next three months, your gift will actually result in a total of $120 toward our goal. Therefore, when we raise $40,000 in this campaign, we'll reach our goal! As always, our Church is a non-profit organization, which means all gifts to the Church count as charitable giving for tax purposes.

While you're at it, we recommend you look into whether the company you work for offers an employee matching gift program. That way, your money can go even further!

If we exceed our $80,000 goal, we'll put the extra money towards our maintenance fund to keep the sound system and the Church as a whole in good working order. We just had a significant repair made to the windows in the sacristy of the Church, which came out of our maintenance savings, so replenishing that would be a great help!
