Dear St. Mary Magdalen Family, 

How blessed are we to be able to walk this earthly pilgrimage with one another as members of St. Mary Magdalen Church!  United in faith and in the sacraments, this parish is the place where we worship together and serve our Lord as his disciples, proclaiming and building up His kingdom.

We greatly value both our formation in the catholic faith and sharing that faith with others through evangelization - making us a visible sign of the Body of Christ on earth.  We are the action of the truth stated so eloquently by St. John the Apostle: “If God so loved us, we also must love one another” (1 Jn 4:11) through our many ministries, apostolates, outreach programs, and charitable efforts.

With this in mind, I invite you to respond to our parish’s new stewardship program: Building God’s Kingdom. Please review the contents of this brochure and prayerfully consider how you and your family can play an active role in continuing the work of Jesus Christ through our parish community. Our goal is to help parishioners make a prayerful and conscious choice to support our parish on a consistent basis. We hope to increase our Sunday offertory contributions so that we can build upon the foundations laid for us and continue to bring Jesus Christ to as many people as possible. This is no easy task in today’s climate, but I am confident that our dedicated parishioners are up to the challenge.

On October 4th & 5th, the parish will be holding a special Commitment Weekend. We will be inviting you, the members of our community, to come together and make a financial commitment that will allow St. Mary Magdalen to continue its important work. We are counting on you! By participating in Building God’s Kingdom, we will be responding to God’s great gift of love by loving one another with the heart of His Son.
